Bio

My name is Amanda Szidiropulosz and I am the music specialist at Charleston Elementary.  My goal is to give every student at CES a firm foundation in music while learning to love and embrace all genres and styles.  My goal is to make music a fun and exciting place for students, one that they cannot wait to come back to! Charleston Elementary is special to me because I attended Charleston from kindergarten through high school.  I am glad to be able to come back to my community and find myself teaching students of individuals I went to school with! I want all students to feel successful, so differentiated instruction is seen often in my classroom.  I also reinforce the seven habits of leadership, so you will see students being proactive, beginning with the end in mind and synergizing on a daily basis! I am currently pursuing my Doctorate degree in Teacher Leadership at Walden University.  So, just like the students, I am learning something new every day!
